    Maddox, born David Ssemanda Ssematimba in Kampala, Uganda, is one of the country's most renowned musicians, significantly contributing to the Ugandan music scene. His singing and talent are unmatched by any current artists.

    He attended Makonzi Primary Boarding School and Busoga College Mwiri. After high school, he worked as a first-grade teacher at "Christian Life Children's Home," a school supported by "Feed The Children."

    In 1991, Maddox moved to Sweden, where he continued to play popular Reggae Riddims from Uganda. His distinctive voice and the powerful messages in his songs have established him as a prominent Reggae artist in Uganda, Africa, and globally.

    Maddox's lyrics are prophetic and educational, and his love ballads captivate music fans. His song "Namagembe" became immensely popular and received extensive airplay on Ugandan FM stations, followed by another hit, "Nakatudde." His debut album, "Tukolagane," features serious beats and remains beloved by fans.

    His latest album, "Abato," showcases a diverse range of songs, each resonating differently with listeners. This variety is a positive development for the music industry. Maddox can take pride in his achievements as an artist for creating such impactful albums.
